Rare in original printed parchment wraps, uncut pages, 243pp of English translation with Latin text facing.
The basis for the later edition by Montague Summers, this very rare witchcraft treatise was seized and destroyed by the authorities before copies could be sold. Some copies found their way into the country and remained within private collections. The work was not widely known til the 1920’s when Montague Summers published his translation through the Fortune Press.
The learned father of Ameno, Sinistrari, wrote volumes of law on witchcraft notably this work on the sexual congress of witches and demons.
A very important work for students of possession, demonic conjuration, witchcraft and the damned arts.
